Abstract
What social requirements and tailed the school for mothers and fathers, what, sort of social differences may occur in terms of communication between family members and from the point of view to see the child, among people who attended / I the course and who didn't and the assessments of people who attended the school [ for mothers and fathers, in terms of curriculum and operation make up the basic aim of this research. The study is discriptive one and covers the 1989-1994 terms. The family life information form which is designed in the light of literature screening and specialist's view, has been applied to a group consist of 198 people who have attended the school for mothers and fathers and has also been applied to another group with the same number of people who have not attended that school. In the analyzeing of data the frequency, the percentage and the "t testi" have been applied by means of SPSS Statistical Package programme. According to the findings in the behavioral patterns the research: differences observed in the behavioral patterns and views to different groups that one have attended the school for mothers and fathers and the other one have not attended, in terms of family life and communication with children, these differences have also been found statisticaly meaningfull. The group who have stated that they have considered the school satisfactory both in terms of curriculum and operation, and have wanted the school to be more prevalent.
