Abstract
The failure of the emergence of a new regional or global power that might dominate the Middle East, the protection of Israel's security, the safety of oil shipment and the continuation of stability and status quo in the region are the mainstays of America's Middle East policy. The role of think tanks in the process of foreign policy formation in the USA and the effects of this role especially in the Middle East are very important. When we examine the current Middle East policy of American foreign policy, we observe that the region is the top priority for American foreign policy. The main reason why this policy is at the top of the list among the priorities is the intellectual foundations on which the current US administration is based (New Conservatism) and specific think tanks with highly effective influence on decision-makers. Among these organizations, we can include the names AIPAC, WINEP, JINSA and PNAC.In America, think tanks gather people at different levels to organize meetings, symposiums, and conduct research on American foreign policy issues, and try to influence them in line with their own ideas. Among the people gathered together, there are many important figures from the congresses and decision makers.
